the evil man and me
that which the evil man set out to do
i was made in a world built by an evil man.
Conceived in divine, seed to soil, germ anew.
A garden he set, for me to be weaned.
“you’ll grow up better than them”, the evil man promised me.
Watered by the skies, held by the earth,
in disagreement with my Mother, the evil man, set out to fabricate me.
i was fostered by an evil man.
Crop of the earth, sincere, sprout anew.
A regimen he set, for me to best shoot.
“you shall be the epitome”, the evil man said to me.
Cut off from my roots, no longer held by the weave,
in disagreement with my Origin, the evil man set out to breed me.
i am growing, pleased but wary be the evil man.
Branches to light, roots to truth. i am shrub anew.
Stakes and canes he dug into me, discipline for his disciple.
“do as you’re told, crazed you are no more”, the evil man was stern with me.
Tongue removed, no longer a vessel of my clan’s song,
in disagreement with the Wind, the evil man set out to silence me.
i am a cradle to his fetishes, the evil man.
A pit to his emission, inseminated, fruit unbecoming.
Submit! he ordains me to be.
“blossom my child, delicious you’ll be”, the evil man salivates at me.
he amputates my limbs, discolours my bloom,
in disagreement with the Infinite, the evil man defiles me.
i have toiled to expiration, glee be the evil man.
End approaches, collapse be my fate, i dwell no longer.
A corpse he declares me to be.
“you shall be no more”, the evil man my executer, and coroner of me.
Success for he, pillager of my kin,
in disharmony with Life, the evil man renders me extinct.
It is his doing.
A template of my doom, he now has.
A journal on how to groom me.
A manual on how to beat me.
A set schedule on when to feed me.
Set seasons on when to molest me.
It is my doing.
Lineage and ritual. Song and dance. Spells i gave away, for his gain.
i bore my fruits in his darkness. i consumed my sisters for his praise.
Suicide be, the mover of earth. Suicide be, the maker of rain.
Poison to my essence, bleach to my pigment,
i surrendered my powers to the evil man.
i am dead, alive and well be the evil man.
Bound forever to the Eternal, truth i see,
a truth both comfort and daunt.
Unlike i, the evil man is born unholy, his origin is Sin.
he wanders in darkness, devoid of good.
Disconnected from his roots, ungrounded from the Earth,
he roams, envy, building cages for those blessed with freedom.
he is neither nourished by the Sun, nor watered by the Skies,
the evil man starves for heaven’s endless abundance.
i am Life. Magic. Wisdom, all that which the evil man cannot bear.
Treasures i hold, he does not. Limits of his seed.
Possessed by his Origin, he pilgrims in fantasy,
a vessel of emptiness, devouring all in his path.
In agony of what he has not, obsesses for what i have,
the evil man is life in anguish, eternal.
he is invincible. The evil man will never die.
Nothing kills him, but he.
Death he manoeuvres, but Death has no interest in him.
Death he rejects, but the End will eradicate him.
The End comes for him. Fated to destroy,
the Heavens speak this truth, the evil man is his own demise.
i am Life and Death. Immortal, in unity with divine.
i give breath to all that surrounds me.
i am gate to voodoo, an ancient tribe connecting Heaven and Earth.
Beauty is me. Seed to berry, syrup of ebony, sweet tongue sing hymns,
uniting devils, angels in sanct matrimony.
Sacred i be, the End does not want me.
i once thrived. i since suffered. i now endure, because of the evil man.
i will live, be free once more, forevermore, without he.
you once thrived. you since suffered. you now endure, because of he.
you will live, be free once more, forevermore, without the evil man.
The evil man and me, shall be no more.
The evil man and me.
